Patty Da Silva is a Brazilian native who has lived in South Florida for over 16 years. She graduated from FIU with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Management, and worked as a financial advisor after college. She discovered her real passion, real estate, in 2004 when she obtained her mortgage broker license. Patty then became a licensed real estate agent in 2006, and has been working full time as a broker and agent since then. She continues to educate herself in the field and has acquired many designations, notably she is a Certified Distressed Property Expert, a Member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, and is part of the National Association of Realtor’s Green Designation. Patty has a strong love for real estate, as evidenced by naming “short sales” as one of her hobbies when asked.

Patty and her husband Chris Green have dedicated their lives to Green Realty, and work tirelessly to expand the firm and remain the best in the business. Her goal is to continue developing Green Realty-not necessarily into the largest firm, but into the best firm-by carefully choosing the best and the brightest to join the Green Realty family. Patty enjoys training new Realtors, LOVES her sellers, and finds great satisfaction in overcoming the challenges presented in real estate (especially in short sales).

Davidson is our 11 year old scaredy cat, who is now the most senior cat in the home after a recent loss of our oldest kitty, Spotty :o(

Davidson is a scaredy cat in every sense of the world. He is petrified of everything and is constantly running for cover. If he was a human, he’d be a conspiracy theorist with an aluminum hat and on anti-anxiety medication. His one solace is his box…he LOVES boxes.

When he’s not busy trying to avoid the world falling on his head, he is very playful and loves to come up and pet you (don’t try to pet him…he’s scared of that too). His favorite pastimes are eating and trying to catch lizards through the glass door (his persistence is awe-inspiring).

Ronnie is our youngest kitty and only girl...and she milks that for all she can. She is a Maine Coon and very much into her looks. She has a Cleopatra sort of personality and takes great care in how she presents herself, even when just sunning herself by the window. She also likes to be carried around, because she is a queen, afterall. Ronnie's favorite pastimes is playing catch, running after strings, and watching some tv to relax. It's good to be the queen.
Tobbie Marble is our 4 year old resident fat cat who has never seen a lap he doesn’t like. He is especially fond of Patty, and very much a momma’s boy. He follows her everywhere and is a permanent fixture on her lap. His favorite pastimes are napping and playing with Patty’s hair. Tobbie is a talker, but also a very good listener; he lingers on to every word, concentrating reaaaally hard and trying to understand what us humans are saying to him. Although he’s very chubby, he is working on a diet (aren’t we all) and has lost 3 pounds already. We’re very proud of our little snuggler!

This is Jodie Foster, is the newest member in our furry family. Jodie was a teenage pregnancy, a sad statistic. She was not spayed, had a litter way too young, and was unable to take care of her kittens. Jodie and her kittens ended up at Miami Dade Animal Shelter…not a very good place to be. She was so stressed that she started ripping her own hair out. We took her in with the intention of fostering her until we found a forever home, but we just couldn’t part with her.

Jodie loves the humans in our house, but still is wary on our 3 other cats. She’s still discovering us and slowly getting used to having a family, so she still hisses at and slaps the other cats…just to set them straight and show them who’s boss. Jodie is making steady progress in all areas; she came to us weighing only 6 pounds and is now proudly sporting a little gut, plus she now roams around the house instead of refusing to leave the bathroom. In time, she’ll understand that she’s no longer Jodie Foster, but now is our Jodie Forever.

When Patty is not working (which is rare), her greatest pleasure is spending time with her husband and their children in beautiful Cooper City, and Patty is especially happiest when her beloved daddy comes to visit from Brazil. Patty also loves spending time with her close circle of friends whenever possible. Patty stays active in her community as a member of the Davie/Cooper City Chamber of Commerce, by serving as a HOA president for years, currently serving as a Condo Association president, and being active in both the Miami Board of Realtors and the South Broward Board of Realtors (where she is a member of the Grievance Committee and the Governmental Affairs Committee). Patty’s hobbies (besides short sales) are watching mystery classics-especially Alfred Hitchcock, all things Jon Bon Jovi (#1 fan), and spending time with the family cats as she is an avid animal lover.

Patty’s passion outside work is animals, and she volunteers at the Broward County Animal Shelter. She dedicates her time to marketing cats for adoption since there is a greater focus on dogs.
