The guide below provides you with the knowledge to rearrange the furnishings and accessories while de-personalizing the home in the best possible manner to enhance the functionality of the rooms, their appearance and balance. Staging is about selling homes faster and for top dollar! 1. De-Clutter! People collect an amazing amount of stuff! The more stuff the smaller the room/home looks Clean off everything on kitchen counters - Countertops and shelves should be clear of food and appliances. You want your kitchen space to appear large, clean and functional. Keep bathrooms as bare as possible - never leave your personals in view when showing your home. Put essential items used daily in a small box that can be stored in a closet when not in use. Think of this process as a head-start on the packing you will eventually need to do anyway.
